Her 1985 performance entitled “Piccadilly Circus” has become a hit and a success. At Folkan, she also had parts in Karlsson pa taket (Karlsson-on-the-Roof), Mio, min Mio (Mio in the Land of Faraway), Snovit (Snow White) and Ringens hemlighet (The Secret of the Ring ). Wahlgren was Annika on stage in the version of Pippi Longstocking at Folket in Stockholm in the second and final performances; she was replaced by Siw Malmkvist as the character of Pippi and received praise from the audience. In her early years and as an adult, Wahlgren played the role of Pippi Longstocking several times.
